How to Become a Contributor
CharityChannel, celebrating its Silver Anniversary, is comprised of tens of thousands of busy practitioners who work for or advise nonprofit organizations in the United States as well as in many other countries. CharityChannel Press is the publishing project of the CharityChannel professional community.
CharityChannel Press has published over 2,000 online articles since 2001 and over 80 books since 2010. At any given time the publishing project has dozens of titles in various stages of authoring, revision, editing, layout, and proofing. Our titles are published worldwide through Ingram, the largest distributor in the world, and can be found in many bricks-and-mortar bookstores as well as on amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, walmart.com, and charitychannel.com.
Because CharityChannel was created by and for practitioners, CharityChannel Press publishes articles by experienced and accomplished practitioners who, besides demonstrating a mastery of the subject matter, can write in a conversational, first person, and upbeat style. (If you are an academic with a love of footnotes and have little or no experience in the trenches, you’ll need to lose the footnotes, show us that you can write conversationally, and maybe even pair up with an experienced practitioner as your coauthor.)
