Brian Saber opens enrollment in Asking Matters
As you know from my recent online interviews with Brian Saber, I'm a fan. I am impressed with his passion and commitment to training us to be even more effective at asking for major gifts.
Brian, a member of the CharityChannel professional community, believes that to really improve ourselves in asking for major gifts takes a commitment of time and willingness to hone our skills. He provides a rich learning environment through his state-of-the-art membership site, Asking Matters. He has carefully designed it to enable us to really learn and grow as fund raisers, particularly with regard to major gifts.
Brian is careful to only accept enrollment when he is ready for new members. He's just done that, opening up enrollment for just a week. If you are interested, don't dawdle. The membership registration window closes in just a few days. It won't open again for months, if his pattern holds.
Brian charges a low monthly membership fee, $29 per month. Compared to the increase in major gifts we can achieve with his training, resources, and encouragement, it's a small investment in ourselves and the organizations we serve.
Because both Brian and I are committed to transparency, I'm pleased to mention that when he learned that I wanted to shine a light on his membership site by interviewing him, Brian generously offered to share some of the Asking Matters registration fees to help support the work of CharityChannel. This will help us with our training scholarships. So, in a way, if you enroll, you'll not only be supporting Brian's life work, but the work of the CharityChannel professional community. How cool is that?
