We're considering creating a crowdfunding site to raise funds for small grant projects. We've researched this but question whether the dollars raised would be considered charitable gifts to the posted projects or to us, the sponsor of the crowd funding site? We are a small faithbased organization that makes grants for new community outreach programs. We also question whether this activity would be considered a program expense or a fund raising expense. It would support the development of new programs at the grass roots level. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, any insight you can provide would be helpful. Holly
