Beginning today, CharityChannel is a fully member-driven professional community. For example, members now have the ability to create their own professional groups, whether they be public, semi-public, or private. These groups may be organized around any organizing principle so long as there is a demonstrable nexus to the third sector. Groups must be of a professional nature. Groups have a number of important tools, among the most important of them being the discussion forms. On CharityChannel, one no longer joins a forum; one joins a professional group.
