In the October 8 issue of Major Gifts Review, Hank Lewis and I talked about using gift clubs to encourage major gifts. During the past month I had the occasion to attend gatherings of two major gift clubs at two distinctly different type of institutions.

The potential for acquiring Major gifts, long the key to successful capital campaigns and now serving the same role for annual funds, can be dramatically enhanced through the use of gift clubs.
