About Me
Univeersal Brotherhood for American Youth. This Corporation is a nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation and is not organized fir the private gain of any person. It is organized under the nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation law for public purposes.
This corporation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Internal revenue Code section 501 (c) (3).
Universal Brotherhood for American Youth, the organization intends to assist our youth in the community, by designing programs which our staff and I feel will help them to learn and grow mentally & physically.
The organization will have after school programs, such as mentoring, sports, education, and music training. We are in the process of trying to put together some type of counseling programs. During the summer we will have camp in each the categories so that we can keep that constance contact with our youth. We will have a 24 hour hot line for children who just need to talk to someone, there will probably be some legal issue, but we will get them worked out. We will communicate with lots of professional people in each of the fields that we have programs. Our organization wants to be able to assist our at-risk youth, by giving them the opportunity and teach them to have a positive out-look on life.
Universal Brother-hood for American Youth will continue efforts to provide sports training, musical training, educational training, health training, and leadership qualities. Once a month we will have a field trip to some Elderly Facility or Veteran Hospital to assist with aid and comfort for others.
We wish to teach our childern a value system such as be kind to others, help when you can, academic dedication, respect for everything, and development of personal maturity, and acting as a positive role model for the community. The need for the above programs is vaildated and ma by the magnified by the information that attributes long-term value to paticipants in these programs. Numerous studies over the years have document the direct value of youth sports and music. These studies indicate that involvement in sports and music results in reducing the potential to become involved in drugs, sex, crime, and gang-related behaviors.
The organization's year around format for it's youth paticipants will work in harmony with the schedules and rules of various touraments that are run by other community High Schools and Middle Schools. This will enable the organization to provide valuable team and social experiences for public, private and home-school students, who want to participant in sports or music programs.
These experiences prvide a source of improvement in physical fitness and musical skills. Our participants will be taught team-work, sport-man-ship, fair-play, corperation, and leader-ship. Increaded self-confidence is just one of the many tangible benefits the organization will offer our youth.
