About Me
I am an average guy, i work and live in Scotland UK, but I am desperately trying to find money for a friend who has breast cancer and cannot afford treatment. She is 32, never smoked, lives healthy and has no family history of cancer and yet has fallen foul of this horrible disease. Her name is Alexandra Ivan. She is Romanian working in Dubai. I worked with her in HP and became friends, i was lucky enough to meet her and her colleagues in Bucharest.
She is a wonderful girl, speaks 3 languages fluently and 2 conversationally, is intelligent, hard working and beautiful. I cannot bear that someone must make a financial decision whether to live or die and i need to raise £40,000 in as short a time as possible to get her treatment
I have raised £2700 in 10 days using social media and my contacts, but i need a wider market, i need millions of eyes to see the campaign for 1000's to give. I only ask £1, thats $1.52, from each person, but that they share this and send it viral. I need heroes, i know they are there, but i need to reach them. We fight against apathy, we fight suspicion, we fight prejudice, we fight against "donation fatigue".....but we fight to win. We have NO option to fail. the consequences are not worth considering. So i will not fail. but i need help. please help me raise this money. Please help me save someone I love.
