Ms. Alford has over 20 years’ experience as a non-profit organization director, grants/contracts administrator and researcher/evaluator. She serves as a Grants Consultant with several government agencies and private foundations evaluating over 3,000 grants and cooperative agreements proposals competing for over $5 billion. She is an expert in project management, program development, fundraising, and interagency partnerships. Ms. Alford has been accepted for the Certified Grants Management Specialist by the National Grants Management Association, one of only 175 individuals in the entire US; and completed all requirements for the Grants Management Certificate Program conducted by Management Concepts. She has earned a MSW Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and BS Degree from Tennessee State University.
