About Me
Sally Boucher joined WealthEngine’s Client Service Team in 2007. Prior to joining WealthEngine, she was Director of Development for the College of Education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She has also served as Director of Development for The American Shakespeare Center in Staunton Virginia, and as Planned Giving Officer and Development Officer for Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Communities. Her experience in non-profit fundraising includes annual fund, foundation giving, planned giving, endowment fundraising, major gifts and capital campaigns.
A past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)-Shenandoah Chapter, Sally has served on their board of directors for 7 of the past 8 years. She has also served on the Planning Committee of the Virginia Fund Raising Institute (VFRI) and has presented on Planned Giving and Major Gifts at VFRI and AFP.
Sally has also provided consulting services to non-profit organizations including disaster relief, faith-based and arts organizations. Consulting projects have included annual fund planning, board training, database implementation and major gift program planning, implementation and coaching.
Sally regularly conducts training on all WealthEngine products, and can offer consultations or workshops covering the basics of electronic screening implementation, utilizing the results of a screening in various fundraising programs, and end-user training for front-line fundraising staff.
Sally lives in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with her husband Phil, two cats and dog. They have two sons in college. She is an active volunteer working with the homeless, and with a group devoted to understanding and promoting inter-cultural communication. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing, and forays into the mountains.
