In addition to her organizational management and leadership experience, she has developed and conducted training on a wide range of subjects to include leadership, cross-cultural communications, marketing, volunteer management, budgeting, and project management. She has written on military life for Military Money Magazine. Most recently she served on the business faculty of the Australian College of Kuwait, where she developed and taught a wide range of business related subjects to include business development, marketing, research, budget & finance, and cross-cultural communications. She developed a reputation for teaching dynamic, student focused classes, which used a variety of techniques to ensure the competency of the students. Julia has a wide range of international experience and has lived as an adult in France, Senegal, Ecuador, Korea, Germany, and Kuwait. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelors Degree in International Relations and Languages from the University of Delaware.
