For all the time, energy and money spent on the razzle-dazzle of professional membership and certification, does it really matter when you write a grant? Does it make a difference to funders? Other than personal gratification, who cares if you are a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) or that you hold a professional certification?
