Reaching the CharityChannel Professional Community

To Promote Your Products, Services, and Job Searches

Why CharityChannel?

CharityChannel is the online professional home of tens of thousands of in-the-trenches nonprofit-sector colleagues, a sizable portion of whom have been active on CharityChannel for more than a decade. Indeed, CharityChannel is the oldest and largest online professional The CharityChannel Professional Community - 1992 - 2008community in the nonprofit sector, making it a “must” destination for results-oriented advertisers over the years (see Addendum).

CharityChannel began humbly in 1992 as a group of colleagues who wanted to create a professional-level online community where they could discuss the day-to-day real-world challenges of working for and on behalf of nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. Today, CharityChannel colleagues contribute and read articles, discuss their challenges and offer assistance to each other, teach and take online classes, attend conferences, and much more.

  • Registrants to CharityUniversity, CharityChannel’s distance learning project.

  • Members of any of the other web sites in the CharityChannel Framework™

Advertising Opportunities - Overview

Based on over 16 years of experience and strong communication with our advertisers, we have developed an advertising program that is both simple and effective: Ads are displayed on hundreds of pages of the CharityChannel site, and each week they are pushed out to the professional community as part of the weekly eNewsletter What’s New at CharityChannel? This one-two punch is designed to reach the entire CharityChannel professional community, as well as to reinforce the advertising message over time.  Maximum reach, and constant reinforcement – a powerful combination.

Keeping it Simple

We have a passion for keeping things simple. So we offer one package – the one that works best, based on years of experimenting and careful tracking. Here it is:

3-Month Campaign

6-Month Campaign

12-Month Campaign

$2,397

($799/mo.)

$4,194

($699/mo.)

$7,188

($599/mo.)

All campaign options include both web site and eNewsletter ads, including

  • Inclusion of your ad in the weekly eNewsletter What’s New at CharityChannel? This pushes your ad out to tens of thousands of CharityChannel colleagues each week, along with a link back to your web site or, at your option, a page on the CharityChannel site where you provide additional information on your services or products.

  • Placement of your ad on all pages of CharityChannel that carry advertising. Ads rotate in, with the system tracking each individual CharityChannel colleague as he/she navigates the site. This ensures that your ad is viewed even if a visitor “parks” on just one page for an extended period, or navigates throughout the site.

  • Tracking reports, including acquisition reports, for web banner ads on request.

PLUS:

The 3-month campaign includes a one-year individual membership in CharityChannel.

The 6-month campaign option includes:

  • Increased rotational weight for your website advertising.

  • A one-year Group Membership in CharityChannel of up to nine colleagues.

The 12-month Campaign includes the following additional benefits:

  • Highest rotational weight for your website advertising, giving your ad campaign greatest possible exposure.

  • A one-year Group Membership in CharityChannel of up to 50 colleagues.

Three-month campaigns are payable in advance. Six-month and 12-month campaigns require initial payment of three months in advance, then are payable monthly via invoice beginning the fourth month.
