About Me
Scott Bechtler-Levin brings more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership, marketing management, and strategic planning in the medical device, healthcare informatics, nonprofit and consumer products industries. Scott became VP of Collective Impact at Good Done Great after the July-2012 acquisition of the social enterprise he co-founded and lead as President fro four years, IdeaEncore Network. He was Founding Board Chair of Pacific Ridge School (an independent, non-denominational middle and high school) in Carlsbad, CA. He was Founder and President of Peak Marketing Group, which for more than 10 years provided marketing consulting, interim executive leadership and coaching on strategic initiatives to new venture and non-profit organizations. He served as Vice President of Marketing and Client Services at Concerro, formerly BidShift (verture capital-backed, it was #176 on the Inc 500 list of fastest growing companies in 2008 and sold to API in 2012). Previously, he was Co-Founder and VP of Marketing at MedVantx (venture-capital backed, #13 Health on the Inc 500 list in 2009). He also served as Director of Marketing for Pyxis Corporation (a division of Cardinal Health, providing pharmacy, nursing and materials management productivity automation). In addition, he has held various corporate marketing positions in the United States, Denmark and France.
Scott earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in international management from Georgetown University. Scott currently serves on the nonprofit board of Wingspan Partnerships and has served in volunteer leadership roles with Pacific Ridge School, the Social Enterprise Institute and as alumni admissions interviewer for Georgetown University.
Scott enjoys biking, surfing, sailing, skiing, hiking, and most anything else outdoors with his wife, Fiona, and their two energetic teenagers.
