About Me
Goal:
As an independent consultant, my goal is to raise money and visibility for nonprofits of all types and sizes through grant writing and other fundraising and communications activities.
Summary:
Over 15 years of experience raising funds in leadership positions at non-profit organizations. Proven ability to secure individual contributions, federal grants, state grants, county grants, foundation grants, and corporate grants ($20+ million in grants to date). Developed and implemented strategic fundraising and communications strategies.
Well versed in writing fundraising and communications materials, including acquisition letters, appeals, brochures, annual reports, case studies, success stories, blog posts, web copy, press releases, and multi-media presentations.
Diverse background to include work in non-profit organizations at the international, national, and local levels. Experienced in a wide array of sectors, including human services, advocacy, education, and international relief and development.
