About Me
President of InfoRich Group, Inc., Ms. King has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and is a highly skilled researcher, having used subscription-based database services for research purposes for more than 20 years. She is the former Director of Advancement and Corporate Secretary at the Chemical Heritage Foundation, Philadelphia, PA, served on the executive management team for two internationally recognized nonprofit institutions and was as a board member for the Delaware Valley Science Council, Philadelphia, PA. In addition, Ms. King served the Board of Director’s Long Range Planning Committee for the International Centre for Diffraction Data, Newtown Square, PA, and was a member of the National Science Foundation's (Arlington, VA) Macromolecular Structure Database Advisory Panel, which evaluated grant proposals.
Currently, Ms. King is a member of the adjunct faculty at Eastern University, St. Davids, PA and Delaware County Community College, Media, PA, where she teaches business and fundraising courses, and is a regular volunteer for Why Not Prosper Inc., a nonprofit residential rehabilitation program for female ex-offenders. Additionally, Ms. King is an instructor for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, where she teaches “The Essentials of Fundraising” (formerly known as the Grassroots Development Program), and is a member of various committees for the Association of Independent Information Professionals and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Ms. King earned a bachelor of science degree from Cabrini College and an MBA from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, and has completed post-graduate work at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge, MA.
