About Me
Judy Davis Carroll, founder and principal for the Atlanta based consulting group, JD Carroll & Associates, has had more than twenty years of professional experience providing a personal touch in the areas of sales, marketing, business development, public relations, event management, and fund-raising.
Ms. Carroll began her distinguished career as an INROADS/Atlanta intern at The Coca-Cola Company. Shortly after graduation, she joined the IBM Corporation and also served as an independent consultant for a public relations firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Carroll gained wide-ranging experience in both corporate and non-profit organizations. Her expertise runs the gamut from in-depth market analysis, sales, corporate relations, government relations and consulting services. Also, she identifies and develops new profit-making ventures, while providing leadership and training. Ms. Carroll anticipates, creates and defines innovative and visionary concepts for clients while ensuring the highest client satisfaction.
A results-oriented self-starter, Ms. Carroll serves as a team conduit in handling client public relations, fund-raising and event planning. As a development specialist, Ms. Carroll trains volunteers in the art of fund-raising through client workshops. She has coordinated the events of clients, handling site negotiations and logistics planning. Ms. Carroll has traveled throughout the southeast on behalf of a National Minority Arts Festival regionally promoting the Festival to radio, print, and television outlets. She has made television and radio appearances on behalf of clients.
During her secondary education, Ms. Carroll completed a 3-summer study with the (MS) 2 Program at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. Judy Davis Carroll earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia in Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University. While at Clark Atlanta, she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. Also, she was selected as a participant for The PhD Project Conference sponsored by the KPMG Foundation. Additionally, Ms. Carroll holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Fund Raising School, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
She is presently an active community leader and serves on the executive committee of the (MS) 2 Program, Trinity School Parent Association Uniform and Diversity Expo Committee Co-Chair, Good Grief facilitator, which is a bereavement support group at Antioch Baptist Church North. Also, Ms. Carroll is a volunteer motivational speaker for LifeLink of Georgia, which is an organ and tissue recovery organization.
