EXPERIENCE
2011 – Present - MERCY Communities, Inc. – Executive Director
MERCY Communities is a small non-profit whose mission is to provide housing and supportive services, to foster the independence of homeless women and their children. As Executive Director, my focus is the continued sustainability of the Agency, through strong, effective programming, as well as the implementation of technology tools and business strategies, that increase efficiency.
2010 – Present - North Park University & The Axelson Center for Non-Profit Excellence
Serve as guest lecturer and adjunct faculty on the topic of Performance Assessments & Outcomes for North Park University and the Axelson Center. In addition, serve on the Alford-Axelson Grant Review Committee, in selecting and recognizing non-profit innovation and excellence.
2010 – Present - Northpointe Consulting, LLC
Serve as a facilitator of dashboard design and development for this niche firm specializing in a web-hosted dashboard reporting platform which assists non-profits in communicating outcomes. It is a venue for executing strategy, and demonstrating transparency and accountability.
2009-2010 Sikich LLP - Management Consultant
Engaged with Sikich specifically to help them with organizational design, processes and work flows related to the launch of a performance consulting division. Accomplishments:
• Served in a leadership role in the start-up of the Consulting Division for the Firm
• Negotiated a third party agreement for a hosted Performance Measurement Platform
• Attended a Global Performance Measurement Training Conference in London, UK
• Presented on the topic of Performance Measurement throughout 2009
• Completed Strategic Plans and benchmarking for numerous clients
• Participated on team projects that focused on direct performance issues or bottlenecks
• Created the “Spectrum of Homelessness” data visualization for the Homeless Recalibration
for the City of Springfield, IL
2005 - 2008 - Worked in Corporate Arena focus on Performance, Strategy and Operations
